A Call To Remember Our Light

A Call to Remember Our Light

Is it possible that the understandable fear and anxiety felt by Jewish people around the world—especially since the events of October 7, 2023—are unintentionally weakening our spiritual, cultural, and communal light?

Could it be that, by dwelling in fear, we are distancing ourselves from the trust we place in the Light, and  Love, of the  Source of all Life? And in doing so, are we—without

realising it—adding to the very cycles of violence, suffering, and spiritual disconnection that we so deeply long to end?

This is not about blame. The pain is real. The grief is real. The fear is real. And yet, as spiritual beings—as souls rooted in a tradition of deep mystical understanding—might we now be called to rise?

Our fear and uncertainty, though natural, can subtly weaken the very things we hope to protect. Whether it’s a loved one, a group, a country, or a cause, the energy of worry tends to seep into what we focus on and can diminish its strength. Over time, worry and fear can weaken our aura, making us more vulnerable to illness, fatigue, and the intrusion of energies that do not serve us.

We’ve seen how emotion affects the world around us. I’m reminded of the remarkable work of Dr. Masaru Emoto, who demonstrated that water exposed to words of love and gratitude formed beautiful, harmonious crystals when frozen—while words of hate and anger led to distorted, chaotic structures. If the vibration of our words can transform the very structure of water—and we ourselves are mostly water—what are we doing to ourselves when we speak words of fear, hate, or hopelessness?

The Universe does not respond to fear. It does not respond to worry. These emotions do not manifest healing—they amplify stress, division, and illness. But we are not powerless. We are spiritual beings in physical form, and we are capable of so much more.

Now is the time to remember
To choose trust.
To raise our frequency.
To walk the Divine path with strength and intention.

Recently, I was moved by the teachings of David Ghiyam, one of the leading speakers in the world on spirituality and consciousness. His deep understanding of Kabbalah and human transformation reminds us that we are not simply surviving—we are co-creating reality.

You can explore his teachings at www.davidghiyam.com.

He encourages us to use our voice—our words, breath, and intention—to create what we want to see in the world. Below is a mantra he offers, one that can be spoken alone or in community. It’s simple, but powerful—a daily invocation of strength and soul:

“I release worry and fear and trust in the Divine Path that we as a people have chosen.
I send Love and Light to all and see positivity and strength.
I believe in our growth, success, and happiness.”

Let this be more than a mantra. Let it be a turning point. A moment of remembering the vast, luminous beings we truly are—and a quiet but powerful commitment to walk forward in Light.
