My first wedding was to marry my own son to his beautiful fiance. The most joyful and beautiful occasion.

I have to say I have found the best job in the world. 

And I know because I have had a few.

From being an early childhood educator to becoming a clinical psychotherapist for the next 30 years, I have worked with many people and know that listening is the most important way to learn about who you are.

A Little About Me

  I am an Internationally published author and love writing. As well as writing wedding scripts I write a very popular blog called Speed of Light-Heartedness.

I know how important this day is for you and as a great celebrant you can rest assure I won’t let you down

I have 5 adult children and a few grandchildren. I have learned to be patient know no matter what happens all will be well.

I know how to collaborate and work with you, your family, your wedding planner.

I am the most positive and joyful person I know. I am totally in love with Love which is why this is my dream job.

 I create personal experiences according to the wishes of my clients. My ceremonies are tailored specifically to you and your preferences.

Legal Documentation:I will assist  you with the completion of your initial legal marriage documentation, ie the Notice of Intended Marriage, which must be completed and lodged with your celebrant no later than one month before your intended marriage date. You will need to bring or show me your original proof of date and place of birth (ie. passport or birth certificate) as well as photo ID and any documents of dissolution of previous marriages or in the case of a deceased spouse, the death certificate.

Style, Rituals and Customs: We will also discuss options for your ceremony content, style, rituals (there are many to explore and choose from, customs that are important  to you both and all the logistics for your wedding day.

Personal Vows: There is a minimal vow requirement to cover the legal part of your wedding, however many couples love to write their own personal vows to one another. I will help you find the perfect way to express your love on the day!

Support :You cannot call me too many times. I will make sure everything runs smoothly and all you have to do is enjoy your wonderful day.

Life experience has taught me to be flexible and resourceful – nothing can surprise or faze me, particularly under pressure. Trust me. I’ve seen it all. I’ll calm the aunties and the in-laws and make sure you have the space you need to enjoy your ceremony to the fullest. My sense of humour and sensitivity often prevails and your well-being will be my priority throughout the entire process.
